Harris County, Houston join brief supporting student loan forgiveness plan

Harris County and the city of Houston joined more than three dozen other local governments across 23 states to file an amicus brief in Biden v. Nebraska, a case brought by a set of states, Texas included, challenging the Biden administration’s plan to forgive student loan debt. Civil rights groups, labor unions, legal experts and others also filed similar briefs.
