Exxon to sell Gulf of Mexico assets to Houston-based investment firms

Spring-based Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM) is selling its assets in the Gulf of Mexico to two relatively new Houston-based investment firms — Esperanza Capital Partners and Andros Capital Partners LLC — which will form a joint venture.
