Cheniere begins permitting process for big expansion at Sabine Pass LNG facility

The proposed Sabine Pass Stage 5 Expansion Project would have total production capacity of nearly 20 million tonnes per annum of LNG and would be adjacent to the existing Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project, which has a combined production capacity of about 30 mtpa.
